On Saturday, Nov. 29, former Elizabeth High School standout Alex Ranslem’s current collegiate team the Western Colorado Mountaineers lost 15-21 against the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The game took place at Mountaineer Bowl at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons in the tournament.
