Colorado senior forward Anaëlle Dutat has been named to the Big 12 Women’s Basketball Starting Five as a Top Performer for the week, according to an announcement from the conference on Tuesday. This is Dutat’s first weekly conference recognition in her career and marks her first honor since Colorado joined the Big 12. It also represents the third such award for a Buffaloes player during the current season.

Dutat delivered consecutive double-doubles last week, including a career-high 19 points and 10 rebounds in Colorado’s win over BYU on February 14. She added three assists and three steals in that game. Earlier in the week, she posted 12 points, 13 rebounds, three steals, and one assist in a victory at Houston on February 11. These performances brought her season total of double-doubles to six and her career total to twelve.

Over those two games, Dutat averaged more than 32 minutes per contest while shooting nearly 56 percent from the field. She also averaged over eleven rebounds, fifteen points, and three steals per game for the week. Within Big 12 play this season, Dutat leads all players in offensive rebounds per game (3.8) and total offensive rebounds (98). She ranks third in overall rebounds per game (8.3) and is tied for thirteenth in steals per game (1.8).

This achievement marks the first time Colorado has received three consecutive weekly conference honors with three different athletes recognized: Jade Masogayo was selected last week after standout performances against West Virginia and TCU; Zyanna Walker earned recognition earlier for her play against Kansas State and Kansas.

The Buffaloes improved their record with wins over Houston on February 11 and BYU on February 14. The team now holds an overall record of 18-8 (9-5 Big 12), with four conference games remaining before postseason play begins.

Colorado will next face Arizona away on February 17 before returning home to host No. 20 Texas Tech on Senior Day, February 21. Both games will be available via streaming on ESPN+, with additional coverage provided through CUBuffs.com.
