Brent Bowker, former Simla High School football player, will compete on the field for the NCAA Division II Football Championship

Former Simla High School standout and current Chadron State Eagles player, Brent Bowker will compete in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the fourth seeded Pittsburg State Gorillas.

The first game is on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 12 p.m.

The Colorado Buffaloes women’s basketball team lost to Oklahoma State 63-56 in a Big 12 matchup at Gallagher-Iba Arena on Sunday.

These former Southeast Denver high school stars set for games on Wednesday, Jan. 14.

Colorado’s men’s basketball team nearly overcame a large deficit against Texas Tech on Saturday but ultimately lost 73-71 at the CU Events Center.
