On Saturday, Nov. 29, former Castle View High School standout Aaron Perry’s current collegiate team the Western Colorado Mountaineers lost 15-21 against the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The game took place at Mountaineer Bowl at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons in the tournament.
These former Southeast Denver area high school standouts will be active on Friday, April 17.
Rachel Kennedy scored five goals as Colorado defeated No.18 Denver in women’s lacrosse on April 15. The win snapped Denver’s home streak as head coach Ann Elliott Whidden praised her team’s effort.
