On Saturday, Nov. 29, former Chaparral High School standout Kylan Wilson’s current collegiate team the Western Colorado Mountaineers lost 15-21 against the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The game took place at Mountaineer Bowl at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons in the tournament.
The University of Denver men’s golf team stands eighth after two rounds at the Bandon Dunes Championship. Oregon State leads both the team and individual standings as the tournament heads into its final round.
The Colorado Buffaloes are set to play Oklahoma State in the opening round of the Big 12 Championship on March 10. The winner will advance to face TCU next. Key players include freshman Isaiah Johnson for Colorado and senior Anthony Roy for Oklahoma State.
Tuesday, March 10 will see these former Southeast Denver area high school stars in competition.
