Colorado head coach Danny Sanchez has announced the 2026 women’s soccer schedule, which includes both non-conference and Big 12 Conference matchups.

The Buffaloes will begin their season with eight non-conference games before entering an 11-match Big 12 slate. Of the teams on Colorado’s schedule, eight participated in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The team will play a total of 11 home matches during the season.

The campaign starts at Prentup Field on August 12 against Colorado State, marking the first meeting between the two programs since a no-contest result in 2021. Two more home games follow against Army on August 16 and Cal State Fullerton on August 20.

Colorado’s first away matches are set for Michigan, where they will face Western Michigan for the first time in program history on August 27, followed by a rematch with Michigan State on August 30 at last year’s NCAA Tournament site.

The Buffaloes conclude their non-conference schedule with three consecutive home games against New Mexico (September 3), Utah State (September 6), and Denver (September 11).

Conference play begins September 17 at Iowa State in Ames. Home conference matches include West Virginia (September 24), Baylor (October 8), Kansas (October 11), Cincinnati (October 30), and Oklahoma State (November 5). Road conference games feature opponents such as Texas Tech, UCF, Kansas State, Arizona, and Arizona State.

At the end of league play, the top eight teams in the standings will qualify for the Big 12 Soccer Tournament presented by Allstate from November 9 to November 14 at a location to be determined. Details regarding game times and television broadcasts will be provided later.

Sanchez stated: “For more information on Colorado Soccer, please visit cubuffs.com/soccer. Fans of the Buffs can follow @cubuffssoccer on Instagram, X, TikTok and Facebook.”
