The Colorado Buffaloes women’s volleyball team has released its 2026 spring schedule, according to an announcement from head coach Jesse Mahoney. The schedule includes five scrimmages across three dates in March and April, with four of the matches against other Colorado schools.
“Spring is such an important time for our program,” Coach Mahoney said. “It’s when we get to slow things down, focus on development, and really invest in our culture. This spring schedule gives our team the opportunity to compete, grow and continue building toward the standard we expect at Colorado. We’re excited to get back in the gym and can’t wait to have Buff fans back with us this spring.”
The team’s first match will be held at Northern Colorado in Greeley on March 28 at 11 a.m., followed by a scrimmage against Wyoming at 12:30 p.m. On April 4, Colorado will host Colorado State at the CU Events Center at 11 a.m. The Buffaloes will face Colorado State again in Fort Collins on April 18 at 11 a.m., followed by a scrimmage against Denver later that day; the time for the Denver match has not yet been announced.
Fans are invited to attend the home scrimmage against Colorado State on April 4.
In the previous season under Coach Mahoney’s leadership, Colorado finished with a record of 23-9 overall and went 12-6 in Big 12 play. The Buffaloes made their 22nd appearance in the NCAA tournament, defeating American University in the first round before losing to Indiana in the second round. This marked their 12th appearance in the tournament’s second round. With their recent performance, including achieving over 20 wins for just the third time since 2017, it was also their best season win total since that year.
