Tonight’s men’s basketball game between the Colorado Buffaloes and Portland State will be played without fans in attendance due to high winds, power outages in Boulder, and hazardous road conditions. The CU Events Center will remain closed to the public.

Ticket holders for tonight’s game will receive a single-use promo code by December 22 to redeem tickets for the upcoming matchup against the University of Northern Colorado on December 28 at 1 p.m. Fans with questions regarding tickets are encouraged to contact cutix@colorado.edu.

The game is scheduled for broadcast at 7 p.m. on ESPN+ as well as KOA Radio 850 AM and 94.1 FM.

In a statement, organizers said, “We apologize for the inconvenience but in the interest of fan safety and to conserve public safety personnel resources, we determined that it was in the best interest of our fans and our teams to play tonight’s game without fans.”
