The Colorado women’s basketball team will travel to Tucson to play against Arizona at the McKale Center on February 17. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. MT and will be streamed on ESPN+. Fans can also listen via the Colorado Radio Network or follow live statistics online.

This matchup marks the second meeting between Colorado (18-8, 9-5 Big 12) and Arizona (11-14, 2-12 Big 12) this season. The Buffaloes previously defeated the Wildcats with a score of 75-56 in Boulder on December 31, 2025. Colorado leads the all-time series, having won seven of the last ten encounters and currently holding a four-game winning streak over Arizona.

Colorado comes into this game after a decisive win over BYU, where they secured a 76-46 victory at home. Senior forward Anaëlle Dutat achieved a career-high with 19 points and added ten rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season.

Head coach JR Payne is in her tenth year leading Colorado, with an overall record of 182-124 as head coach. She has been extended through the 2028 season and has guided the Buffs to three NCAA appearances during her tenure.

The roster features four returning players from last season: Jade Masogayo, Kennedy Sanders, JoJo Nworie, and Tabitha Betson. This year’s team includes ten newcomers—five transfers and five freshmen—who have joined from various programs across the country.

Several players have posted notable individual statistics this season:
– Jade Masogayo ranks among conference leaders in scoring average (12.5 points per game), free throw percentage (77.1%), and blocks.
– Anaëlle Dutat leads the Big 12 in offensive rebounds per game (3.8) and total offensive rebounds (98). She is third in rebounding average (8.3) and among leaders in steals.
– Desiree Wooten stands out with averages of 12.6 points per game along with significant contributions in assists and steals.
– Zyanna Walker is third in conference for steals per game (2.3).

As a team, Colorado ranks high within the Big 12 for offensive rebounding, rebounding margin, steals per game, scoring defense, scoring margin, free throw percentage, turnover margin, total rebounds, and overall rebounds per game.

Upcoming milestones include several players nearing personal statistical achievements such as career points or rebounds.
