Denver men’s golf team in eighth after two rounds at Bandon Dunes Championship

The University of Denver men’s golf team is in eighth place at 11-over after the first two rounds of the Bandon Dunes Championship, according to a March 9 update from the team. The tournament is taking place in Bandon, Oregon.

Oregon State currently leads the competition with a score of 24-under, while Oregon holds second place at 14-under. SIUE and Seattle are tied for third at 5-under. In individual standings, Nguyen Anh Minh from Oregon State is leading at 11-under, followed by his teammate Rylan Johnson at 8-under. Ramil Saelim from Oregon and Oscar Lent from Oregon are tied for third.

For Denver, Dozer is ranked 21st overall with an even-par total after shooting rounds of 69 and 73 for a combined score of 142. Hernandez sits in 28th place at one-over (72-71—143), Grant is in 37th at two-over (69-75—144), Novak stands in 76th position at nine-over (73-78—151), and Panzarello is in 84th place with ten-over (75-77—152).

The Pioneers are scheduled to begin their final round on Tuesday morning at 7:45 a.m. Mountain Time.
