Denver men’s golf team to compete in Bell Bank ‘Pay It Forward’ Collegiate

The University of Denver men’s golf team will travel to Arizona for the Bell Bank “Pay It Forward” Collegiate, scheduled for March 23-24 and hosted by Minnesota.

The event is significant as it brings together a competitive field of 17 teams, including several Summit League opponents. The tournament will be held at the Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield Park, Arizona, which measures 7,345 yards and plays as a par-72.

Denver’s lineup for the tournament includes Jack Dozer, Jet Hernandez, Willis Panzarello, Zander Grant, and Ryder Odem. The competition format consists of three rounds of 18 holes each. The first two rounds are set to begin at 8 a.m. Mountain Time on Monday, with the final round also starting at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

In addition to Denver and host Minnesota, other participating teams include Kansas City, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Oral Roberts, St. Thomas, Arkansas State, Bethel, Drake, Iowa State, Marquette, Maryland, Nebraska, UTSA (University of Texas at San Antonio), Utah State and Wisconsin.

The tournament provides an opportunity for Denver to compete against both conference rivals and non-conference teams in preparation for upcoming events.
