The University of Denver women’s golf team concluded the Alice and John Wallace Women’s Golf Classic in Palm Desert, California, tying for 15th place with a total score of 72-over par at the Monterey Country Club.
Southern California secured the team championship with a score of 17-under. Eastern Michigan finished second at 9-over, while UCLA took third place at 18-over. Catherine Park from Southern California led the individual standings at 11-under. Alexis Vakasiuola from Grand Canyon also posted an 11-under finish, and Kylie Chong from Southern California placed third individually at 4-under.
For Denver, Anna Neumayer finished tied for 56th with a three-round total of 229 (+16). Logan Hale and Holly Hamilton both tied for 70th at +19 (232). Maren Farbu was tied for 76th at +21 (234), and Brooke McGlasson finished in a tie for 89th with a score of +29 (242).
The Denver Pioneers will compete next in the More Than A Game Invitational hosted by the ANNIKA Foundation in Aiken, South Carolina, scheduled for March 2-4.
