Colorado forward Jade Masogayo signed a training camp contract with the Minnesota Lynx on April 15 following the 2026 Women’s National Basketball Association Draft, which took place on April 13.

Masogayo’s signing comes after a strong second season at Colorado, where she was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team. She started all 33 games in the 2025-26 season, averaging 11.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game while shooting nearly 49 percent from the field. She scored in double digits in twenty games and had four games with at least twenty points.

Head coach JR Payne said, “This is a well-deserved opportunity for Jade, and we’re incredibly proud of her. Earning a training camp contract with the Minnesota Lynx speaks to her resilience, discipline, and growth over time. She’s ready for this moment, and we’re excited to watch her take the next step!”

Masogayo helped lead Colorado to its seventeenth NCAA Tournament appearance by scoring double-digit points in fourteen conference games. In her final game against Illinois during the first round of the tournament, she recorded fifteen points and five rebounds. Over the season she improved her free-throw shooting to nearly seventy-six percent and made more than one hundred free throws.

During conference play, Masogayo earned recognition as Big 12 Starting Five Top Performer for her performances against West Virginia and TCU in early February. She also achieved career highs during matchups against Oklahoma State, Kansas, Houston, and TCU.

The Minnesota Lynx will begin their training camp on April 19 ahead of their first regular-season game scheduled for May 10 against Atlanta.
