Former Douglas County High School standout Jaeton Hackley and the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets edged past the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals, 67-64, in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 14.

The matchup, played at Kenneth E. Burg Center at noon, was the teams’ first meeting in the tournament.

Black Hills State’s next contest is set for Sunday, March 15 at 5 p.m., once again at Kenneth E. Burg Center.
