U.S. Representative Lauren Boebert, who has represented Colorado’s 3rd district in Congress since 2021, posted a series of statements on her official social media account on October 7, 2025.

In her first post at 15:00 UTC, Boebert criticized an unnamed senator by writing, “Pocahontas voted to shutdown the government to give illegal aliens free healthcare. Pretty simple.”

Shortly after, at 15:01 UTC, Boebert expressed gratitude toward two senators for their legislative efforts: “Big thanks to @senatorbanks and @senatorbennet for leading this effort in the Senate. Looking forward to this bipartisan, bicameral bill being signed into law! “

Later that day at 20:17 UTC, Boebert addressed concerns about inmate treatment at a federal correctional institution: “Nobody should be treated this way. @RepTimBurchett and I are formally asking BOP to conduct an investigation into the inhumane treatment of inmates at FCI Fairton.”

Lauren Boebert has served as a U.S. Representative from Colorado since defeating Scott Tipton in the 2020 election and assuming office in January 2021. Born in Altamonte Springs, Florida in 1986, Boebert currently resides in Silt.
