On Saturday, March 14, Missouri Western Griffons, featuring former Rock Canyon High School standout Gavin Hershberger, were defeated 83-65 by the St. Cloud State Huskies in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The tournament game, which began at 8:30 p.m. at Lee Arena, marked Missouri Western’s first contest against the St. Cloud State Huskies in this tournament.
