On Saturday, Nov. 22, former Thunderridge High School standout Richard Okuno’s current collegiate team the Chadron State Eagles lost 17-21 against the Pittsburg State Gorillas in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The game took place at Carnie Smith Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Pittsburg State Gorillas in the tournament.
These former Southeast Denver area high school standouts will be active on Friday, April 17.
Rachel Kennedy scored five goals as Colorado defeated No.18 Denver in women’s lacrosse on April 15. The win snapped Denver’s home streak as head coach Ann Elliott Whidden praised her team’s effort.
