Cost of college went down for all students at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology

Tuition and fees fell 3.5 percent for 2018-19 at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Colorado students paid $15,190 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $553 less than the $15,743 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 66 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 49 students received grants or scholarships totaling $151,963 and 39 students took out student loans totaling more than $328,507.

Including all undergraduates (339), 310 students used grants or scholarships totaling $3.6 million, and 220 students took out $2.6 million in federal student loans.
