DOUGLAS COUNTY: Life of a Ballot: follow your vote’s journey through the election process

Vote6(1000)

Douglas County issued the following announcement on Sept. 3.

All registered voters in Douglas County receive their ballots by mail. Colorado has been conducting all-mail ballot elections since 2014 and is regarded as a national model for elections integrity, security and high voter turnout.

Have you ever wondered what happens to your voted ballot after you drop it off?

Your ballot is secure and monitored throughout the election process by cameras, written custody logs, and bipartisan teams of election judges from your community who participate every step of the way.

For election information and voter resources, please visit DouglasVotes.com or call Douglas County Elections at 303-660-7444.

Ballots for the Nov. 3, 2020 General Election will be mailed to all eligible voters the week of Oct. 12 and you should expect them to arrive by Oct. 20.
