Announcement

City of Lone Tree issued the following announcement on Oct. 8.

Eligible nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organizations that serve Douglas County residents are invited to apply for COVID-19 impacts reimbursement grants, funded through the County’s share of the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Watch this message from Douglas County Commissioners to learn more about this program.

Community-based charitable organizations can review eligibility details and submit their application here for the Douglas County CARES Nonprofit Grant Program. Applications are due Oct. 30, 2020. Eligible organizations may apply for reimbursement of a portion of expenses incurred on behalf of County residents from March 1 through Dec. 30, 2020, due to COVID-19 that were not budgeted as of March 27, 2020.

This program aims to reimburse nonprofit organizations a portion of the expenses incurred as they adjusted and adapted to increased service demand while complying with COVID-19 public health restrictions and continued to serve the most vulnerable among us.
