Highlands Ranch issued the following announcement on Oct. 19.
Cooler temperatures and falling leaves mark the end of the season for two popular park destinations in Highlands Ranch.
Water features at Civic Green Park
The overlook fountains and stream near the playground at Civic Green Park were turned off Monday, Oct. 19. The interactive fountains in front of Case Pavilion had previously been turned off for the season during September. Next year, the overlook fountains and stream will be turned back on mid-April, weather dependent. The lower interactive fountains are typically turned back on mid-May.
Civic Green Park, 9370 S. Ridgeline Blvd., is located in the heart of Highlands Ranch near the intersection of Broadway and Highlands Ranch Parkway, next to Douglas County Libraries at Highlands Ranch.
Batter Up! Batting Cages at Redstone Park
The batting cages at Redstone Park closed for the 2020 season on Saturday, Oct. 17. They will reopen April 3, 2021.
Redstone Park is located at 3280 Redstone Park Circle on the west side of Highlands Ranch. In addition to the batting cages, the park offers picnic shelters, a playground, sports fields, a skate park, Lebsack Tennis Center, and Rover’s Run dog park.
