Town of Castle Rock recently issued the following announcement.

Fireworks are not typically a part of New Year’s Eve celebration in Castle Rock. However, fire restrictions prevented the traditional fireworks show this past July 4, which allows the Town to close out the year with a bang on New Year’s Eve. Fireworks will blast off from Santa Fe Quarry Mesa, located just south of The Meadows, above Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course, starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31. The show can be seen from almost anywhere in Town, though, visibility may be limited in some areas east of Interstate 25. The New Year’s Eve fireworks show is weather and fire restriction dependent.
