WASHINGTON - On April 27, 2023, Congressman Ken Buck (CO-04) released the following statement regarding his vote against the Limit, Save, Grow Act of 2023:

"I voted no on the bill to raise the U.S. debt ceiling. While a step in the right direction, the Limit, Save, Grow Act does not do enough to rein in the federal government’s reckless spending.

This bill will only reduce the projected deficit by $4.8 trillion dollars over the next ten years, leaving America with a $53 trillion debt during that time and our country on the brink of a fiscal crisis. Republicans must distinguish ourselves from Democrats by taking a stand against out-of-control spending and reversing course before it’s too late."
