WASHINGTON - On May 25, U.S. Congressman Ken Buck (CO-04) released the following statement regarding the U.S. Supreme Court ruling against WOTUS and in favor of Chantell and Michael Sacketts in Sackett v. EPA:
“For far too long, the EPA and federal government have used the Clean Water Act as a bludgeon against hardworking farmers and ranchers. This unanimous decision by the Supreme Court is a win for rural Americans and landowners who don’t need every puddle in eastern Colorado regulated and controlled by bureaucrats in Washington D.C.”
