WASHINGTON — U.S. Congressman Ken Buck (R-CO) released the following statement regarding his vote against the House Rule (H.Res. 463)
"There are over a thousand unauthorized government programs that continue to be funded without oversight, Congressional hearings, or a reauthorization vote. Yesterday, I voted against the House rule for the week because Republican leadership has not taken reckless spending or reviewing these programs seriously. Promises were made earlier this year regarding spending; I expect those commitments to be kept. “
