The E86 Commercial Metropolitan District has temporarily closed Legacy Circle south of Murphy’s Express to repair a water main leak. The closure began on Monday, January 26, 2026, and is expected to last through at least the morning of Wednesday, January 29, 2026.

Officials have warned that the leaking water main is causing icy conditions on the roadway. Drivers are advised to avoid westbound Legacy Circle until repairs are finished due to the winter weather advisory. Detours have been set up to direct traffic north off Legacy Circle and around AutoZone. All businesses in the area will remain accessible during this period.

Residents of Wild Pointe are encouraged to use either the Pinto Trail/Legacy Circle interchange or the Legacy Ridge Street intersection as alternate routes. Gold Creek residents should use the Hinds Street intersection.

Water service will continue for all residences throughout the repair work. Businesses will be notified ahead of time if a temporary water shutoff becomes necessary. Water service for Legacy Academy will not be affected.

Authorities stated that an update would be provided once repairs are complete and regular traffic can resume on Legacy Circle.
