Former Rock Canyon High School standout and current Western Colorado Mountaineers player, Jacob Naibauer will compete in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
They begin the tournament as a number two seed against the second seeded Central Washington Wildcats.
The first game is on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m.
Colorado track and field athletes posted several historic performances at recent meets highlighted by Avery Pearson’s No.2 all-time run in school history for women’s 800 meters at Bryan Clay Invitational. Other Buffs achieved career bests across distance races and field events.

The No.16-ranked Colorado women’s lacrosse team will play UC Davis on Sunday in California for their final road game of the regular season. The Buffaloes remain undefeated against the Aggies after nine meetings.
