University of Denver golfer Zander Grant was named KwikStar Summit League Peak Golfer of the Week on March 26 after securing a fifth-place finish at the Bell Bank “Pay It Forward” Collegiate. This is the first time Grant has received this honor in his collegiate career.

Grant, who is from California, finished five under par with rounds of 68, 70, and 73 for a total score of 211 over three rounds. He recorded thirteen birdies during the tournament, led all players in par-3 scoring, and ranked fourth in par-4 scoring.

The recognition highlights Grant’s strong performance among competitors and marks a milestone achievement for him as a junior on the team.

Grant and his teammates from the Denver Pioneers men’s golf team are scheduled to compete next at the Gaucho Invitational in Santa Barbara, California on April 6 and April 7.

The team’s activities can be followed through their official social media accounts.
